Who are the Friends of Historic Germantown (FOHG)?

Anyone can be a Friend! FOHG is a small and passionate group of people with connections to Germantown, Clermont, and Livingston who work to preserve, interpret and share the area’s rich history from the present back to the pre-colonial times. FOHG members conduct research, work on exhibits, record histories, and interact with meaningful artifacts, structures, and landscapes to bring high-quality and diverse stories to the public.

Do you work in Clermont and Livingston too?

Yes—Germantown, Clermont, Livingston, and other nearby histories are intimately tied back to pre-colonial times. We welcome any research, activities, and members from these areas. In short, FOHG serves as the history and preservation organization for Columbia County’s southwestern corner.

How can I become a Friend of Historic Germantown?
